We finally got ourselves out of Palmerston to do a bit of exploring and went to the neighbouring town of Shannon.
Primary goal was to check out Owlcatraz, a cool little nature reserve/owl sanctuary. It also has a truly epic glow worm cave – unfortunately we couldn’t film in there.
Was well worth the trip and a must see if your in the area
