Drinky Talky Thingy Podcast #85: These things are getting a bit long again it seems

We thought it was time to update the Intro music, thankfully Doctor Octoroc had us covered!
We thought it was time to update the Intro music, thankfully Doctor Octoroc had us covered!

It seems that in the last few weeks while a lot of the fun has returned to the show, it has brought with it a bit of extra length. I guess the bonus of being structured is it helped us stay on track.

Anyway this week we tried some new things – for only the second time ever we had a soundboard! We hope you can actually hear them because Paddy was being an idiot with his tablet. It got even worse when Gow took over the controls.

The other new thing is that after a long search we have a new intro track. Thankfully it’s creator Doctor Octoroc was kind enough to give us permission to use it. The man has done some seriously good chiptune music you can check it all out over a  Doctor Octoroc | Video Game Inspired Music, Art and Life

However we didn’t want to shake things up too much, so we still covered whole pile of gaming news. From the possibility of 3 different Wii U bundles to the fact the the head of EA is a bit of a tosser, the rise and fall of Steam Greenlight to the long overdue release of the Black Mesa project.

Anyway all that and much more in this episode of the Drinky Talky Thingy.
