It is never a good week when any member of the industry passes, but I can imagine fewer that have had quite the impact on as many gamers as Hiroshi Yamauchi.
While he stepped down as Head of Nintendo a few years ago, without him they may well still be making trading cards.
Obviously though that was not the only news in gaming circles this week, and the game always continues.
This week we talked about the Rumoured Steam Box, the PS3 to PS4 upgrade Program, the end of Warhammer Online & obviously also some GTA V chatter because it would be impossible not to.
