Shift 2 Unleashed officially shakes off the Need for Speed title in this sequel, though unofficially in my head it retains it.
A solid driving game that manages to walk that fine line between realism & arcade game-play it has one very key failing – the race driver in the cut-scenes!
It may have been made worse by the fact that I had no idea who the hell he was, but the fact that he has one of the most irritating voices I have ever heard and his videos DO NOT have a skip option really annoyed me.
If you can get past that though as driving experiences go its pretty good
